Acer has launched a new Android smartphone – Liquid Zest Plus. It is a typical mid-range device and comes with a good rear camera and a huge battery.
Acer Liquid Zest Plus has a 5.5″ display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. In today’s world, the resolution is below par compared to its rivals. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) processor and 2GB of RAM.
Acer Liquid Zest Plus has 13MP tri-focus camera which uses laser, contrast and phase detection to lock focus that can theoretically enable quick focus. This is one of the main features of this device. The front camera is 5MP.
Other features include 16GB of built-in storage, Android Marshmallow, 4G LTE support and a huge 5,000mAh battery with fast charging capability.
It has been launched in US and is priced at $250. Acer has not revealed any plan of launching it to other markets.
