According to recent reports, it has been revealed that some of the U.S. Motorola Moto G models have been receiving the Android 4.4.2 update starting today. The devices that were purchased from Motorola.com or Amazon.com in the U.S are the ones that receive this update to begin with. The latest update will allow the Moto G users and assist the progress in printing emails and photos from the phone.
The newfangled update brings to view certain newly designed status and navigation bars alongwith the availability of a full-screen mode, enhanced security, and smarter power use. Additionally users will be benefitted due to the availability of improved closed captioning and added support for color emojis. Furthermore, the arrival of this update will also allow looking up contacts directly from the dialing pad or users can simply tap on frequent contacts for making a call.
Moreover several enhancements present their arrival for bringing in improvements to the camera along with the facilitation of the enhanced “touch-to-focus” functionality. The latest update also provides enrichments to the photographs that were clicked utilizing the manual settings through Moto G’s rear camera.
It is expected that this update will be rolled out by the other carriers too in the days to come. Motorola confirms that the Android 4.4.2 update for the Motorola Moto G will be available soon and also will be rolled onto other regions too.
