Since the inception of smartphones, we have seen that each passing day, a new phone is launched in the market. There are so many options for the users to choose from. There are different mobile OS to choose from – Android, BlackBerry, iOS, Windows, etc. And each smartphone OS offers plenty of different devices.
So while buying a device, an individual might get confused as to which phone should be bought. The most common way is to use the web and log on to gsmarena or phonearena and check the specifications of different smartphones and compare them. But now, there is a much more smarter way to do it. XDA Recognized Contributor QuantumFoam has made a wonderful app – SpecCheck, using which the individuals can compare the specifications of different devices. This will largely help to clear out the confusion on which phone is to be bought.
SpecCheck is a fully Holo-themed app and makes use of an ever growing and automatically updated database of over 150 Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and iOS devices. Device information can be viewed offline, and there are even links to buying and selling device options such as Swappa. The cloud database update is another feature that is included in this app. All the new devices that are launched in the market are updated periodically into the SpecCheck app.
Thus SpecCheck is a pretty useful app which not only helps to compare different devices, but also helps to keep an up to date information of the newly released smartphones. SpecCheck is a free app available on the Google Play Store. It is compatible with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and above.
