With reports coming in Xperia Blog, it is construed that the firmware for the Xperia Z is available for the consumers. It is to be noted that this update is available for at least for those models that come which arrive with unlocked bootloaders. This update is available, courtesy of xda-developer DooMLoRD.

The new-fangled leaked firmware (version 10.3.A.0.407) can be employed on models C6602/C6603. This can be worked upon such models.  However it is an eye opener that the users should not install the ROM on the Xperia ZL, Xperia Tablet Z or any other handset because certain issues can arise during the course of time.

It is a point to be noted that we don’t advise you to install such unofficial ROM on your devices, and in case you perform these actions we are not responsible for any wrong doings or whatever that happens to your devices. And it is advisable to use proper guidelines before performing actions.

As these leaks surface up, it is expected that the Xperia Z Android 4.2.2 update will arrive sooner than later.
