Google Nexus 5 has arrived back on the Google Play Store and it is sitting pretty on the side of the Nexus 6 and the Nexus 9. The usual strategy of Google is to discontinue the older Nexus devices once the new ones are released but this may be about to change.

Nexus 5 was one of the best devices of last year and Google is still proud of it. It is almost a year old, but its specs are still comparable to any high end device.

With the Nexus 6 screen at a huge 5.9″, Google may want to give an option to the users to have a Nexus device with a smaller screen.

With Nexus 5 to be among the earliest to receive the Android 5.0 L, it might not be a bad idea to get one. Especially with improvement in the performance and the battery life, Android 5.0 might make Nexus 5 a better device.

Nexus 5 is availableĀ in Black, White and Red, and is available in both original memory options, 16 GB and 32 GB. However Google has not reduced the price of this phone and it still remainsĀ $399 for the 32 GB and $349 for the 16 GB models.
