The new Nexus device from Google is finally official. Google has officially unveiled the Nexus 6 and it will be the first handset to run on the Android 5.0 which has also got a sweet name at last – Lollipop.
As it is made by Motorola, its design is similar to the 2nd Generation Moto X. But the metallic frame gives it a more premium look.
Nexus 6 will have a huge 5.96″ QHD display. It will be powered by the latest quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 CPU along with 3 GB of RAM and Adreno 420 GPU.
The Nexus cameras have not been up to the mark of a high end device in the recent years. Google has tried to correct this by providing a 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. Storage will be either 32 GB or 64 GB.
The huge display and the monstrous processor will be backed up by 3200mAh battery. Google claims that the battery will give you 24 hours of use from a full charge. Another feature that Google has added is the turbo charge where in you get 6 hours of battery use in just 15 minutes.
Nexus 6 looks like it is surely living up to the hype surrounding it. For now, only these details are available. It will be available for pre-order from the Google Play Store and Best Buy from late October.
