Motorola recently announced the 2nd generation Moto X. It will be a slightly updated version of its predecessor. It will come with a 13 megapixel rear snapper featuring a number of technologies such as Quick Capture, LED flash, 4k UHD video recording, 4x digital zoom, slow motion video, burst mode, auto HDR and Panorama.

The camera app brings a few customisations. To open the camera settings, do a swipe to the right and to the left for the gallery app, which uses a light colour scheme. Senior XDA member, tazlooney89 has shared the Moto X 2nd Gen Camera and Gallery apps. The users of Moto G will be able to install it on their devices. Follow the instructions given below to install it on your device.



Installation Steps

  1. Download both the files and transfer it to your device.
  2. Enable App installation from unknown resources. Go to Settings>> Security>> check Unknown Sources.
  3. Now using a suitable file manager, locate the files downloaded in previous step.
  4. Tap on it to install it.
  5. On the installation screen select Install to begin installation of the app. If you see Next instead of Install, click through Next, you will get Install button.
