HTC One, the 2013 flagship device of the Taiwanese company was a huge hit. HTC have already started the work on its successor and it is internally codenamed HTC M8. Previously, we saw the HTC M8 images were leaked online.
Now another piece of news leaked by @evleaks states that HTC M8 will be launched at the end of Q1 2014 and will be available with all the major US carriers just like the HTC One. HTC M8 will be headed straight for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint whenever it launches.
M8 will be the company’s first device with a new Sense 6.0, and along with it they’ll likely have Android 4.4 KitKat. HTC M8 will reportedly have a 5 or 5.2-inch 1080p HD display, Qualcomm 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM. HTC M8 will also have a fingerprint scanner just above the rear camera as seen in the One Max.
According to rumors, HTC M8 will be named as “HTC One 2” and it will compete with Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony’s 2014 flagship device.
