According to the rumors, HTC’s latest flagship device – HTC One Max is expected to be launched on October 17. HTC One Max can be considered as a phablet and it will give direct competition to the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Samsung’s Galaxy Note series.
In an earlier article, the release date was mentioned as early September but for some reasons the launch of the One Max has got delayed. With the Nexus 5 along with Android 4.4 KitKat also to launch around mid-October, it is going to be an interesting few days for the Android fans.
As mentioned earlier, HTC enters the phabet market with the One Max. It will have a gigantic 5.9 inch 1080p Super LCD 3 display. It is believed to be equipped with 3GB of RAM but some sources suggest it will have 2GB of RAM.
It will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. One Max will be powered by a Snapdragon S4 Pro chip featuring a quad-core processor, clocked at 1.7GHz. It will have the same 4 MP ultrapixel camera that is found in the HTC One.
As stated before, the HTC One Max is expected to launch of October 17. The price of One Max will be almost the same as its competitor – Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
