Huawei have launched a new phone in the Honor series – Huawei Honor 5A. The launch event took place in China. Honor 5A is the successor to Honor 4A which was launched in July last year.
Honor 5A is an entry level device and it will be available in two variants. One version is a standard version while the other one is specific to China Telecom, Unicom and other networks.
Huawei Honor 5A has a 5.5″ HD IPS display with a resolution of 720×1,280 pixels which results in a 267 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor clocking at 1.2GHz and has 2GB of RAM.
The internal storage of this device is 16GB which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The rear camera is 13MP while the front camera is 8MP. It has a 3,100mAh battery.
Huawei Honor 5A comes in blue, black, gold and white colors. It will be available in China from June 17. The standard model costs 699 Yuan while the other variant costs 799 Yuan.
