MediaPad M2

Huawei has announced a new tablet – the MediaPad M2 with 64 bit computing support. It is a good 8″ tablet which will perfectly fit in your hand with great design and specs. Its design may look a bit similar to the HTC One Series.

Coming to the specs of this tablet, it has a 8-inch display with 1200 x 1920 resolution which can be considered good enough for a tablet. It will be powered by a 2GHz 64-bit octa-core Kirin 930 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage.

The battery capacity of the MediaPad M2 is 4800mAh. It has a 8MP rear-facing camera with an LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.

The MediaPad M2 is 7.8mm thick and weighs 310g, so it is neither the thinnest nor the lightest but considering the specs of this device, it sounds reasonable.

Huawei MediaPad M2 will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.1 software over it. The WiFi model will cost $310 while the LTE model will cost $390.
