Huawei’s next big phone will be P9. It will be the successor to Huawei Honor 6 and will fall in the high end category. It is expected to be released in the first half of the year 2016. Unsurprisingly, its specs have surfaced online.
Huawei P9 will have 2 variants. One will be powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 955 SoC. It will have 4GB RAM, 64GB and 128GB storage options and 12MP dual sensors with Leica optics. The other variant will be a mid-ranger. It will have 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, Kirin 950 SoC and 3,900mAh battery.
Huawei P9 is believed to be a camera-centric phone. It will have parallel dual-lens camera setup alongside dual tone LED flash and laser focus module on the rear side.
Huawei P9 will have fingerprint scanner on the back while the headphone jack, speakers and a USB Type-C port will be at the bottom of the device.
