Honor 7

Recently, Samsung rolled out the beta version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Now Huawei are going on the same line and will roll out the Android 6.0 Beta for the Honor 7 users who register themselves for this Beta version.

By registering IMEI number on a Google Drive form, users can apply to receive an OTA update of an Android 6.0 Marshmallow (and EMUI 4.0) beta that Huawei is currently testing in India. Huawei will verify the information and will start pushing the OTA update for the users after 24 to 48 hours of submission.

The final official version of Android 6.0 for Honor 7 will be released in February 2016. Along with Honor 7, Huawei has promised Android 6.0 for Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus, Honor 4X and Honor 4C smartphones.

Honor 7 is a high end device with great specs. It has a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display and pixel density of 423 pixels per inch. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 930 processor, which has 4 Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 4 more clocked at 1.5GHz. Honor 7 will features a fingerprint sensor.

The rear camera will is 20MP while the front camera will be 8MP with fixed focus and F2.4 aperture. Other specs of Honor 7 include – Mali T628 GPU, 3GB RAM and a microSD card expansion slot allowing you to increase the storage by up to 128GB.
