Apple releases their iPhones during the later part of the year and as the launch of the new iPhone is coming closer and closer, the rumor mill is starting to spice up. There are multiple sources which state that this year, the iPhone 6 will come in 2 sizes – 4.7″ and 5.5″.
Of the two variants of the latest iPhone 6, the smaller one that is the 4.7″ version will come with an ultra thin battery which will only be 2 mm thick. Apple is believed to be planning an “iPhone Air” model for the next device. The panel and chassis size for the iPhone 6 is also being adjusted.
iPhones are renowned for their excellent camera quality. iPhone 5s has an 8 MP rear camera. Previously, Apple had decided to make only slight improvements to the camera but it does not want to lag behind Sony’s flagship devices which offer 20.7 MP camera. So the new iPhone will have Sony’s Exmor IMX220 sensor, which features a 13-megapixel sensor.
Apple has started the mass production of the 4.7″ iPhone 6 while the production of the 5.5″ iPhone 6 will begin from August.
