Samsung recently annouced Galaxy Round – world’s first smartphone to have a curved display. LG haven’t stayed far behind and they plan to release their very own curved display smartphone. According to rumors, the phone was to be named LG Z. However, LG have changed their decision and instead of LG Z, it will be named as LG G Flex. The images of this phone have been leaked to the press.
The design of LG G Flex is different from the Samsung Galaxy Round. LG G Flex will have a curve from top to bottom rather than the side to side curve that is seen in Samsung Galaxy Round.
The specifications of the LG G Flex are not known yet. The only news out is the 6″ screen which is larger compared to the Galaxy Round. However, LG G Flex is expected to have some of the best specifications like a 1080p display and a Snapdragon 800 SoC.
The leaked images show that the volume buttons as well as the power button will be placed on the back which was first seen in LG’s latest flagship – LG G2.
LG G Flex is expected to be launched next month and it will provide stiff competition to the Samsung Galaxy Round.
