LG has officially announced the much awaited device – LG V10. This device offers something different just like the Edge series of Samsung. LG V10 will have a Second Screen which will be useful for multitasking.
The USP of this device is the Second Screen. This is a smaller secondary display that aims to provide its users useful information without the need to turn on the main screen. This is an IPS LCD Quantum Display as well, measuring just 2.1 inches long. It also sports a resolution of 160 x 1040 and comes with the same 513 pixel density that the main display has.
Users can display a variety of things on this screen when the phone is locked – weather, time, date and battery percentage when the main display is off. When the main screen turns on, though, the Second Screen can convert to a launching area for your most-used applications. Moreover, it can discreetly notify you when a text or call comes in when you’re watching a video or playing a game. It won’t distract you if you choose to ignore the notification, either.
With regards to specs, LG V10 boasts all the high end features. It has a 5.7″ IPS LCD Quantum Display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and an pixel density of 513. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and Adreno 418 GPU along with 3GB of RAM.
The internal memory of LG V10 is 64GB which can be expanded up to 2TB using microSD card. LG V10 has impressive cameras as well. LG V10’s rear camera is 16MP with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization version 2.0 while the front camera is 5MP with two separates lenses. LG V10 also has a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device.
LG V10 will be available in several countries from this month. LG are yet to reveal the pricing details of this device.
