LG G3 Beat was launched in China some time ago and LG has officially confirmed its availability in other parts of the world. It will start showing its presence in South Korea starting Friday, while the global roll-out will begin from Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries in the following weeks.
LG G3 Beat will be launched as the LG G3s in the European and CIS markets. The LG G3 Beat features a 5-inch IPS display offering 294ppi pixel density. The screen resolution has been dropped to 720×1280 pixels as compared to the QHD resolution of the LG G3.
LG G3 Beat will be powered by a powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage with microSD card expansion and is backed by a 2540mAh battery.
G3 Beat features an 8 MP rear camera with Laser Autofocus feature seen on the G3, while the front camera will be 1.3 MP. Some of the pre loaded features in this device include – Touch and Shoot, Gesture Shot, Smart Keyboard and QuickMemo+.
G3 Beat features the same ‘Floating Arc Design’ as seen on the LG G3, featuring smooth curved sides and gradually tapered edges. It will be available in three colors – Metallic Black, Silk White, and Shine Gold.
