Recently, Samsung announced the world’s first curved display smartphone – Galaxy Round. LG have also officially unveiled their curved smartphone and named it as LG G Flex. Most of the leaks about the G Flex have turned out to be true.
LG’s concept for the curved display smartphone is different from Samsung’s. While the Galaxy Round is curved from side to side, the G Flex has a curve from top to bottom.
Besides the unique design, the G Flex has all the high-end specifications. It has a huge 6″ screen, 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM. The primary camera is 13 MP. The G Flex has a 3500mAh battery.
As seen in the LG G2, the volume as well as the power buttons are placed on the back of the phone. This was also visible in the leaked images. The back of the phone is made of a special protective film that can fix itself within minutes after being scratched.
LG haven’t disclosed any special features of this phone but it does have a tilting wallpaper and different unlocking effects when the screen is touched in different places. Also, users can turn on multimedia apps directly from the lock screen.
LG G Flex will be available in South Korea in November, but the international availability has not been revealed yet.
