LG has launched a mid-range device LG Ray. It is a good looking device and has decent specs along with some flagship features which makes it good value for money.

LG Ray has a huge 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720p. The resolution is quite low compared to today’s devices but its still good enough. It is powered by a 1.4GHz MediaTek MT6592M octa-core processor with only 1GB of RAM.

The rear camera is 13MP while the front camera is 8MP which is excellent for a mid-range device. It has Android 5.1 Lollipop on board and a selection of flagship G-series features, including Knock Code unlock and camera Gesture Shot.

There are some downsides to this device. Mali-400 GPU is not at the level of a mid-range GPU while LG Ray also does not support 4G network.

LG Ray has been priced at $232 and it is available in Silver, Gold, and Titan Black color options.
