LG G5 will be launched on February 21. As the launch date comes near and near, LG has started to reveal some of the features of LG G5. It has launched a GIF teaser on its Facebook page which displays one of the features of LG G5.

The teaser reveals that LG G5 will boast “Always On” display. In the animation clip, we see numerous smartphones lined around in a circular form, go from display-on to off in a domino effect and in the final seconds, the LG G5 lights up with black display showing time, missed call, message, email and calendar notification.

It is a new feature of LG but it was originally seen on the Nokia Lumia series way back in 2013. Nokia used the term “Glance” for this feature.

We already know the specs of LG G5. It will have a 5.3-inch display with a Quad HD resolution. It will be powered by brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage.

Along with this, LG G5 will also have Ticker Display and Magic Slot. Ticker will act as a secondary display and will make the device feature-rich while Magic Slot will serve as a hardware expansion port for plugging in accessories such as a VR headset, external keyboard or audio amplifier.
