LG have planned to release a new phablet in order to compete with the Galaxy Note 4 and the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. This phablet will be named G4 Note and it might release with the flagship LG G4.
LG’s mobile business chief Cho Juno said at the MWC 2015 “We are planning to release a product that stands above the G series. It will be launched during the second half of this year.” He might have referred to the G4 Note while stating this.
“The firm will grab the third place in terms of sales in the global mobile market,” said Juno, adding that “the upcoming premium phones would help it obtain the spot”.
LG are in high spirits after the success of the G2 and the G3. They are encouraged to launch the phablet that will further alleviate their market status.
Meanwhile, a new LG device has been spotted at the FCC with model number LG-LS770. It is a 5.8″ device, 79.3mm wide and 154.1mm tall. The battery capacity is 3,000mAh and it supports LTE. Not much information is available about this device.
