LG have officially launched a new mid-range phablet – LG Stylus 2. It becomes successor to G4 Stylus, which was launched last year.
LG Stylus 2 has a 5.7-inch HD display with In-cell Touch technology. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor backed by 1.5GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 3000 mAh battery. It runs on Android Marshmallow. The rear camera of Stylus 2 is 13MP while the front camera is 8MP.
The main feature of Stylus 2 is its pen-like tool that comes with a nano-coated tip. To enhance the user experience, LG incorporated proprietary feature – “Pen Pop,” which toggles a pop-up menu when the stylus is removed to offer shortcuts to Pop Memo and Pop Scanner.
Another notable feature of LG Stylus 2 is the “Pen Keeper,” which prevents the stylus from getting misplaced. It displays a pop-up message when the phone is detected as being in motion, while the stylus bay is empty. LG has also included “Calligraphy Pen” font feature, which allows users to write notes decoratively as if using a fountain pen.
LG Stylus 2 will be showcased at the MWC 2016 where its pricing and availability details will be revealed.
