Meizu have announced a new mid-range Android smartphone – Meizu MX6. Although it comes under mid-range category, most of its specs are high end but at an affordable price.
Meizu MX6 has a big 5.5-inch full HD TDDI (Touch and Display Driver Integration) LCD display. It is powered by MediaTek Helio X20 octa-coreprocessor and has 4GB of RAM. It has an internal memory of 32GB and ARM Mali-T880 GPU.
The rear camera of Meizu MX6 is 12MP with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording. The front camera is 5MP with f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with a layer of Flyme 5.2 UI over it.
Other features include Dual-SIM slots, fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n; dual-band: 5GHz & 2.4GHz) and Type C USB port.
Meizu MX6 has gone live in China and is available in gold, grey, pink and silver colours. It is priced at $299.
