Moto G was one of the best devices of last year offering great specs for a mid range phone. It soon became Motorola’s best selling smartphone ever. Now Motorola is set to release the Moto G 2014 with upgrades that will make the phone even better.
The screen on the Moto G has gone from 4.5in to 5in but the resolution has stayed the same. The 2014 version will have the exact same Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core chip with 1GB of RAM.
One big improvement in this device is the addition of the expandable memory card slot. Many users felt that 8 or 16GB internal storage was insufficient for their daily needs and now Moto G 2014 solves this problem.
Moto G 2014 will have a 8 megapixel front camera instead of the 5 megapixel and a front-facing 2 megapixel camera that was just 1.3 megapixel on the original.
Moto G (2014) will debut at a highly affordable $179.99 USD (8GB model), making Motorola’s latest offering quite temping for those looking for a wallet friendly smartphone. Moto G 2014 is available in India, France, UK, Brazil, Spain, and Germany and other regions will get it soon.
