The second generation of Moto X is now available in India via Flipkart which is India’s largest online retailer. Like the Moto G (2014), this device has quietly arrived without much marketing or any fuss.
Lets look at the specs of the Moto X (2nd Gen). It is a significant upgrade over last year’s device. It has a large 5.2in AMOLED display enclosed within the Gorilla Glass 3 outer casing. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz and 2 GB of RAM.
Moto X (2nd Gen) consists of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. It has all the regular connectivity options like 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and microUSB. Its battery capacity is 2,300 mAh Li-Ion battery, in comparison to its predecessor’s 2,200 Li-Ion battery.
It runs on Android 4.4.4 and it will reportedly get the Android L update from Google right after the Nexus devices. The cost of the device is around $550 which is equal to INR 32,000.
