Moto X

It has been a few weeks since Android Marshmallow was launched. Many smartphone manufacturers promised to deliver Android Marshmallow to their flagship devices before the end of the year. Motorola was one of them and they have delivered the promise by seeding OTAs for Moto X Pure Edition.

Motorola’s David Schuster has just taken to Google+ to reveal that the company has started to roll out Android 6.0 Marshmallow to the Moto X Pure Edition on Verizon, Sprint and U.S. Cellular. Even AT&T users have started receiving the OTA.

Motorola has posted a changelog which includes all the features of Android Marshmallow like Google Now on Tap, Doze, improved app permissions, improved memory management and much more.

You can manually check if you have received the OTA by going to Settings >> About phone >> Software update.

In addition to Moto X Pure Edition, Motorola has started soak tests in Brazil and India for the Moto X Play and in Brazil for the Moto X Force.
