This year, Motorola’s flagship series will be Moto Z instead of Moto X. Motorola are also planning on launching a mid-range device in the Moto Z series. It will be called Moto Z Play and its specs have been leaked via AnTuTu Benchmark.
Moto Z Play’s model number is XT1635-03. It will have 5.5″ display. AnTuTu Benchmark shows that Moto Z Play will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor. But sources suggest that it will be launched with Snapdragon 652 processor and the use of Snapdragon 625 is just for testing purpose.
Moto Z Play will have 32GB of inbuilt storage, 3GB RAM, Adreno 506 graphics engine, 16MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Moto Z Play will be similar in design to last year’s Moto X Play. Like Moto X Play, it will be first launched in emerging markets like Brazil and India and then will be launched in other regions.
