Motorola launched the Moto X series a few weeks back. Its not been that long and they have launched another device – Motorola Droid Turbo 2. It has been launched in conjunction with Verizon. Droid Turbo 2 falls in the high end category.
Motorola Droid Turbo 2 will feature a 5.4-inch QHD display which Motorola claims as being “shatterproof”. Motorola Droid Turbo 2 display is made up of 5 layers – Rigid aluminum core, Amoled flexible display (can absorb shock and bend rather than break), Dual Touch layer (so if one breaks, it will still work), Interior lens, Exterior lens.
Droid Turbo 2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB RAM. It has 32GB and 64GB storage options. The rear camera is 21MP while the front camera is 5MP. It will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop
Turbo 2 has a non-removable 3760 mAh battery that supports both Turbo and wireless charging technologies. It will get about 13 hours of charge in just about 15 minutes when using the Turbo charger.
Motorola Droid Turbo 2 will go on sale from 29th October. Turbo will be available in ballistic nylon, plastic and leather options. Turbo 2 will be available for $26 per month for 32GB model and $30 per month for 64GB model. For people preferring full payment, the pricing is $624 and $720.
