Motorola has finally taken off the wraps from the Motorola Droid Turbo. This device is in direct competition with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4. Initially, this device will be only available via the Verizon carrier.
Lets come to the specs of this device. Droid Turbo has a 5.2in AMOLED display enclosed within Gorilla Glass 3. It will run on a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor along with 3 GB of RAM. Internal storage will be either 32 or 64 GB. It will have the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS.
Other specs include an impressive 21MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. The 3,900 mAh battery is a unique selling point of Motorola’s next-gen Droid. This device ships with the Motorola Turbo Charger that claims to give the smartphone an 8-hour battery life on just a 15-minute one-time charge.
Verizon will offer the high-end smartphone at $24.99 (£15) a month for a period of 24 months for customers who qualify the conditions. Off contract, the device will cost $600.
Droid Turbo is available in Ballistic Nylon, Black and Red colors. It will be available from October 30.
