Moto E, launched in 2014, was a big hit for Motorola. It offered excellent specs at a very low price. Now Motorola have launched its successor in the UK and they have updated quite a few features in the new Moto E.
The new Moto E will have a slightly bigger screen of 4.5″. However the screen resolution has remained the same – qHD. It will be powered by a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and Motorola has added a front-facing camera to the 2015 model which was a significant omission from the original.
The new Moto E will have support for the 4G networks in UK with Motorola also set to launch the 3G model. Another big plus is the Android version – the new Moto E will run on Android Lollipop out of the box.
One disappointing news is that the rear camera has remained the same – 5MP without flash or the autofocus and it is set to continue the less than average performance of the camera.
The new Moto E will be available in 2 colours – black and white. It went on sale in the UK on 26th January. The price of this device is £109.
