Motorola has officially unveiled the new budget friendly smartphone – Moto E. This device at a low price offers pretty good specifications and it is meant to target the low-end market. Moto E priced at $130, is even cheaper than the Moto G which was released a few months ago.
The specs of Moto E wont come as a surprise since it was leaked a few days ago and they have turned out to be accurate. Moto E will have a 4.3″ screen with a resolution of 960×540 pixels for a density of 256ppi, which is lower than the Moto G’s 326ppi.
Moto E is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and is backed by 1GB of RAM, with an Adreno 302 400MHz single-core graphics chip. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat. Moto E also has a 5 MP primary camera but the front facing camera is absent.
Along with the Moto E, Motorola also unveiled the new 4G Moto G with some better specs and a slightly higher price. Moto E sales have started in the US and May 19 is the date when its sales will start in the UK.
