Sony has announced a new range of phones at the MWC 2016 – Xperia X. In this range, Sony has released 3 devices – Xperia X, Xperia X Performance, and Xperia XA.
Sony Xperia X Performance:
Xperia X Performance is the best among these phones. It will have a 5″ 1080p display. It is powered by the latest Snapdragon 820 processor and 3GB of RAM. It has a 23MP camera with Hybrid AF which lets you pick a target and tracks it. Front camera is 13MP. The main camera can record 4K video and can boost ISO up to 12,800. Sony claims that Xperia X Performance has the best Sony camera till date. This phone will run on Android Marshmallow. It also has fingerprint sensor and IP68 rating.
Sony Xperia X:
Sony Xperia X is a slightly cheaper version of Xperia X Performance. It has the same camera and display. However it runs on a Snapdragon 650 chipset and 3GB of RAM. The phone promises to bring Sony’s awesome battery life – two days of use between charges (the battery is 2,620mAh). Like Xperia X Performance, this device also runs on Android Marshmallow and has fingerprint sensor.
Sony Xperia XA:
Sony Xperia XA is the cheapest device among the three. It has a 5″ 720p screen and is powered by MediaTek MT6755 chipset along with 2GB of RAM. The rear camera is 13MP while the front camera is 5MP. It has 16GB of internal storage. It has a smaller 2,300mAh battery. It will run on Android Marshmallow but wont have the fingerprint sensor.
All the three devices will come in 3 color options – Graphite black, White, Lime Gold or Rose Gold.
