Google new Nexus 6 is believed to be unveiled in October along with the much awaited Android L. Users have already got the look and feel of Android L via the developer previews but it did not have all the features. But with the release of the Nexus 6 which will be officially named ‘Nexus X’, Google will release the full version of Android L initially for the Nexus devices.
Some benchmark scores have apparently revealed the internal specs of the Nexus X. It will be powered by Snapdragon 805 (APQ8084 chipset) processor clocked at 2.7 GHz, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 13-megapixel rear camera (or 20 megapixel). The front camera will be 2 megapixel. It will also have a 5.9in 2K (1440 x 2560pixels) display.
Google has changed the name of this device to Nexus X due to the copyright issues with the famous movie Blade Runner wherein its author, Philip K. Dick, had called the dummy androids as Nexus-6 in his story.
Google released the Nexus 5 without any official unveiling and it wont be surprising if Google opts for the same with this device.
