Google have officially launched the Huawei Nexus 6P. Last year’s Nexus 6 was a large device which did not find favours with all the users so this time along with Huawei Nexus 6P, LG Nexus 5X has also been launched. Nexus 6P will be high end device with better specs.
All the previous rumours about the Nexus 6P have been proved correct. Nexus 6P will feature a 5.7″ QHD display with 518ppi. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB RAM. Nexus 6P will also have front-firing speakers.
Usually, the Nexus cameras are never great but Huawei are trying to turn this around. The rear camera will be 13MP while the front camera will be 8MP. Google claims Huawei Nexus 6P will offer better low light experience. Nexus 6P will have a huge 3450mAh battery. The internal storage of Nexus 6P will be 32GB, 64GB or 128GB.
Nexus 6P will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. While it is not a major update from Lollipop, however it is significant enough. Android Marshmallow offers improved battery management, bug fixes, Google’s Now on Tap improved search technology, and the introduction of numerous new APIs offering support for fingerprint scanners and more.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow also adds greatly improved permissions, allowing you much more granular control over what parts of your phone experience your apps have access to.
Nexus 6P 32GB model will cost $500 while 64GB will cost $549, and the 128GB model is priced at $649.
