In the last decade, Nokia was the leading phone manufacturer. However Nokia decided to snub Android and go with Windows, which was one of the major reasons for their downfall. It looks like they have learnt from their mistake. They will soon launch a mid-ranger and its picture has been leaked online. It is called Nokia A1.
We don’t have full details of the specs although we have some info. It will have a 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652. Its strange that the first Nokia Android phone will be a mid-ranger. Many would have expected a fulll-fledged flagship as a first phone and announce its arrival grandly.
In the picture, we see a different design of Nokia A1 as its older designs are patent to Microsoft. Nokia A1 is running on the Nokia Z Launcher, likely built on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
According to our sources, Nokia A1 will be released sometime in the summer of 2016.
