The Nokia Lumia 1020 has been officially announced. The device arrives in conjunction with the 41-megapixel sensor in tow. The peculiarity about this device is that it encompasses a 41MP autofocus PureView camera with a huge 1/1.5″ BSI sensor (slightly smaller than the 1/1.2″ imager inside the 808 PureView), 6-lens ZEISS optics and optical image stabilization.
The Smartphone features the impressive f/2.2 camera and it comprises a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Lumia 1020 sports a 4.5-inch AMOLED 1280 x 768 resolution screen that assists the progress in including the necessitated clever touch sensitivity which is available in other Lumias. This is assured further with functionalities like the video featuring a 6x zoom while recording in 720p. Thus this utility boasts the magnitude of the meaty 41-megapixel sensor. Nokia has also presented a “Pro camera user interface” with the device, which bestows greater creativity when snapping. Additionally, it dishes out some superior low light performance.
Furthermore, Nokia doesn’t economize on the audio quality as well. This is proved by the inclusion of a pair of high performance microphones that help during recordings. The uniqueness about this facilitation is that they possess the functionality to record deep bass and high quality stereo audio, as promised by Nokia.
