OnePlus 2 was launched a few months ago. Although it has not taken the world by storm like OnePlus One, it is doing reasonably well. Now OnePlus have announced that OnePlus 2 prices will be slashed by $40 for all the markets for the 64GB version.
OnePlus have mentioned that the lack of sales is not the reason for the price drop. OnePlus claim that producing a OnePlus 2 has never been cheaper than right now hence the decrease in the prices.
OnePlus 2 is the 2015 flagship Android device of Chinese upstart OnePlus. It features a 5.5″ 1080p LTPS LCD display, 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 3300mAh battery. Internal storage comes in at either 16GB or 64GB.
The rear camera has a 13MP sensor and is capable of 4K video recording at 30fps, while the front camera has a 5MP sensor and can record 1080p video.
The original OnePlus 2 pricing was fair and with a further reduction of price, we can expect more sales of OnePlus 2.
