OnePlus has started sending out teasers for the launch of their next device – OnePlus X which will be a mini version of OnePlus 2. Carl Pei, CEO of OnePlus, had earlier confirmed that OnePlus were working on a mini version of the flagship.
As OnePlus X is a mini version, its specs will be a little toned down. It will have a 5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and Synaptics’ ClearForce Technology. OnePlus X will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and a 2,450mAh battery.
OnePlus X will run on Oxygen 3.0 OS, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Other features include 13MP rear camera, IP67 certification, NFC, FM radio, an IR blaster, front facing speakers, and removable StyleSwap.
There are still two weeks to go before OnePlus X will be officially launched. By then, we will get additional details like whether the invite system will be there for OnePlus X and the pricing of OnePlus X.
