OnePlus One has finally released the Oxygen OS which is based on the Android 5.0.2. They took some time to deliver it but now its finally here.

“Your suggestions and feedback have strongly influenced the direction of Oxygen, and we consider all of you a part of the team. This ROM was built just for you, and we can’t wait to hear what you think. We’ve made a feedback app available for download on OxygenOS, and we hope you’ll use it,” says a release note in the OnePlus forum.

The Oxygen OS has several unique features – gesture support, customizations and quick settings. Gesture support will let you launch applications using gestures even when the screen is off. The quick settings enables users to choose their own options in the notification drop down.

OnePlus’ Carl Pei in a blog post, “Our goal for OxygenOS is to provide faster, more meaningful updates and a better-integrated range of services for every OnePlus user. It values performance and battery life over gimmicks and bloated features.”
