A few months ago, news broke out that PlayStation games were coming on Android. This got the PlayStation fans very excited. But it was only for a few select Android devices. These devices were mainly from HTC One series, and a certification was required.

However, members from XDA developers have worked very hard to get it on other Android devices. Obviously you will need a ROOTed Android. The main benefit is that it will work on non certified devices too. So, PlayStation lovers can have a great time. It has reportedly worked on a range of Samsung, HTC and Asus devices!

There are two methods to do it.

Requirements:

Method 1:
  1. Download the PlayStation Mobile apk and install it using a file manager.
  2. If you run this app now, you will get the following error.

  3. Download the PlayStation Certificate Installer zip file and place it on your SD card.
  4. Reboot your phone and enter the Recovery Mode.
  5. Now clear cache and Dalvik cache.
  6. Go to install zip from SD card and select the file downloaded in step 3.
  7. Reboot your phone.
  8. Now PlayStation Mobile should work just fine, and you should no longer see the error from Step 2. Go register for a Sony Entertainment Network account if you haven’t yet and try playing some games.
Method 2:
  1. Download the PlayStation Mobile apk and install it using a file manager.
  2. You will see an error if you try to run this app.
  3. Download the PlayStation Certificate Installer zip file and place it on your SD card.
  4. Unzip this file.
  5. Copy com.playstation.playstationcertified.xml to /system/etc/permissions/ on your device.
  6. Copy com.playstation.playstationcertified.jar to /system/framework/ on your device.
  7. Set the permissions on com.playstation.playstationcertified.jar to 644 (read/write, read, read) using a file manager.
  8. Reboot your phone.
  9. Now PlayStation Mobile should work just fine, and you should no longer see the error from Step 2. Go register for a Sony Entertainment Network account if you haven’t yet and try playing some games.
Note: This app is known to work better on high-end devices.

    or also use drastic to get DS emulator :) i like android
