A Samsung insider has leaked the specs document of the Galaxy A7. And as the name suggests, it is an elder sibling to the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5.
Samsung Galaxy A7 will feature a larger 5.5-inch 1080p display than its siblings and an octa-core Exynos 5433 chipset. Exynos 5433’s Cortex-A57 cores will be clocked at 1.8GHz and at 1.3GHz for the Cortex-A53s. Previous rumors had suggested a Snapdragon chipset but they are apparently wrong.
Other specs of the A7 include 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory and Android KitKat. The rear camera will be 13 MP and the front camera will be 5 MP.
The Galaxy A7 is only a minor upgrade on the Galaxy A5 with the improved screen and the processor the only notable differences. The release date of the Galaxy A7 is not known yet as the production problems of the Galaxy A3 and A5 have still not been solved.
