Galaxy Grand

Samsung Galaxy S4 was launched a few days ago. It had a new feature in it known as Group Play. With the Galaxy S4’s Group Play feature, all you need to do is tap phones and you can stream a song to every other handset in the room. It is also possible to share more than music, photos or videos. An individual can cooperate or compete in games such as Asphalt 7 racing or Gun Brothers – and those are just two of many titles that will support this feature.

Samsung Galaxy Grand users in India have a great news. Samsung has started rolling out the OTA (Over The Air) update for the Galaxy Grand which includes the Group Play feature. Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 were the expected devices to get this feature. But Samsung have raised a few eyebrows by rolling it out on the Galaxy Grand.

The update for the Galaxy Grand is a rather trimmed version. Group Play on this smartphone will allow you to share pictures, documents, and music with Galaxy Grand users over the same WiFi network or using WiFi Direct. Galaxy Grand users can also play the music files that they have shared at the same time.

The OTA update is 27.86 MB in size. If the users haven’t got the notification yet then they can go in Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update and download it manually.
