Samsung Galaxy J1 (2015) was released in January last year. It was a competitive device in the low end market. Samsung is working on its successor and the pictures have been leaked online via leakster @evleaks aka Evans Blass.
Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) will also be a low end device but it will offer some upgrades compared to last year’s device. Galaxy J1 (2016) will have a 4.5-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It will be powered by Exynos 3457 processor that clocks at 1.3GHz and will have 1GB of RAM.
The rear camera will be 5MP while the front camera will be 2MP. It will have internal storage of 4GB which can be expanded via microSD card slot. It will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) is expected to be launched at the end of this month. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has also approved it. Samsung have not provided any comment on this.
