Samsung is planning to release its entry level phone – Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) in July this year. The Federal Communication Commission (FCC) has cleared a device codenamed SM-J210F, which is believed to be the Galaxy J2 (2016).
We also have the specs of Galaxy J2 (2016). It will feature a 4.7″ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720×1,080 pixels which results in a 294 ppi pixel density. It will be powered by Spreadtrum SC8830 quad-core SoC processor and will come with 2GB of RAM.
The internal memory of will be 16GB. Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) will have 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Galaxy J2 (2016) is a good upgrade over its predecessor and the fact that it runs on the latest Android OS will further boost it. As mentioned before, it is expected to be released in July and it will cost around $100.
