Galaxy Note 10.1 2014

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has started receiving the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update. Although it is only available for the WiFi variant now, the 3G and the LTE versions will get the update in the coming days.

Samsung has introduced a lot of KitKat features in this update. However no revelations have been made about whether any Samsung additions have been made in this update.

The KitKat update comes in the form of OTA (Over The Air) update or it can also be updated via the Samsung Kies application. This update brings the usual KitKat features like translucent status bar icons, performance enhancements, immersive mode, user-interface improvements and more.

If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check it manually by going to Settings » General » About phone » Software updates. It hasn’t been rolled out to all the regions as of now, but it is expected to release in the coming days in the remaining areas.
