Samsung’s next flagship device – Galaxy Note 6, is expected to be released in mid-August. The source of this news is our popular leakster @evleaks. He tweeted – “Samsung Galaxy Note 6 US release scheduled for week of August 15th.”
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was launched on 13th August so this prediction of @evleaks might well be true. Samsung will first release Note 6 in US, China, India and Europe, followed by other countries.
Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will share some of the specs with Galaxy S7. It will have a 5.8″ QHD (2560x1440p) display and come with IP68 water-resistant certification. It will also feature USB Type-C port, 4GB/6GB RAM, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 823 System-on-Chip (SoC) and a 4,000mAh battery.
Other than this, reports suggest that a new Gear VR will be launched alongside Note 6 and also a BlackBerry Hub-like new app called Focus, which will reportedly consolidate messages from multiple apps.
