Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S4 mini for the United States. It is expected that this handset will feature on a major carriers like Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and U.S. Cellular and will hit the US shores in November.
Dubbed as the Galaxy S4 mini, the itemized handset is arrives as a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy S4. The device features a 4.3-inch 960×540 Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core processor. The Galaxy S4 mini possesses 8-megapixel rear and 1.9-megapixel front cameras and has 16GB storage with the availability of a microSD card slot. Additionally it has 1.5GB RAM and packs in a removable 1900mAh battery.
The Galaxy S4 Mini will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and individual pricing by carriers will be revealed over the days to come. This smartphone was announced at the beginning of this year and it was internationally launched in July. At present there is no information available on the pricing and availability in November, but it is reckoned that users will be treated to detailed information in the coming weeks.
