Samsung announced their flagship devices a week ago at the MWC 2015. All the changes in the new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were welcomed and now Samsung have stated that both the devices have received record pre-orders.
According to Korea times, both these devices have racked up 20 million orders which is new record for Samsung. Out of 20 million, 15 million are for the Galaxy S6 and the rest 5 million are for the Galaxy S6 Edge.
As seen previously, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge both have same specs. However the S6 Edge has curved display towards the edges which can be used for a lot of small things – keeping the app shortcuts, receiving notifications, etc.
Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will have a 5.1″ QHD display with a pixel density of 577 per inch, which is 77% greater than the S5. It will be powered by its own 64-bit processor and the next generation DDR4 RAM.
Samsung claims that the processor is 20% faster than the Galaxy Note 4 and 35% more power efficient. Both the devices will have a 16MP rear camera with OIS and a 5MP front camera.
