As the launch date is coming near, many leaks are surfacing. One report suggests that the Galaxy S6 will be pre loaded with a host of Microsoft applications.
Samsung and Microsoft have struck a partnership and Samsung’s Jaewan Chi, Executive Vice President and Global Legal Affairs & Compliance Team and Microsoft’s David Howard, Corporate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel said: “Samsung and Microsoft are pleased to announce that they have ended their contract dispute in US court as well as the ICC arbitration. Terms of the agreement are confidential.”
The applications that will come with the S6 include – OneNote, OneDrive, Office Mobile (with a free Office 365 subscription) and Skype on the Galaxy S6.
Primitive Samsung applications like the S Voice, S Health, S Note, etc will not be pre-loaded in the Galaxy S6. But you do have the option to install them via the Galaxy Apps Store.
