Samsung are due to unveil their flagship devices next month – Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. A report of Korea’s ETNews has leaked the details of both these devices. Samsung Galaxy S7 will have a 5.2″ display while Galaxy S7 Edge will have a 5.5″ display.
ETNews has given more details – Samsung is preparing an initial production run of 5 million units, split between the two models at a 2:1 ratio: 3.3 million Galaxy S7 units and 1.6 million Galaxy S7 Edge units.
As far as specs are concerned, both the devices will have same specs except the screen size. Both devices will feature a QHD resolution display. They will be powered by Snapdragon 820/Exynos 8890 processors depending on the region.
Samsung has decided to finally listen to the consumers and have added support for microSD card for the flagships.
While many reports are claiming a January launch, ETNews have suggested Samsung will finalize the development of the S7 and S7 Edge in January and kick off manufacturing in February.
